Corrie Lawson, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Integrated Sports Medicine & Physical Therapy of Loudoun
I have always had an interest in health and fitness, a strong desire to help others and an aspiration to work in the medical field. Combined with my past in athletics, pursuing a career in physical therapy was an easy decision. I graduated from Northern Virginia Community College in 2011 and obtained my license as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Since I graduated I have been practicing in the orthopedic rehab setting. I started working in Warrenton, VA at an outpatient setting prior to moving to Leesburg, VA when I started working at Integrated Sports Medicine in October 2012.
I have attended several continuing education courses including Kinesiotaping, manual therapy courses, running courses, Graston technique, and I am certified in Active Release Technique in both lower extremity and upper extremity. I specialize in performing running evaluations for current patients and clients of the public community. I enjoy taking continuing education courses concentrating on sports medicine and treatment of athletes. My goal is to educate and treat patients in a manner that will effectively aid them in returning to their normal level of function, pain-free or getting them back on the field.
In my spare time I enjoy staying active, exercising and enjoying the outdoors. I also enjoy spending time with my husband, family and friends.
