The decision to wear a mask, or to have your provider(s) wear a mask, is up to you. At the start of your appointment, you can have a conversation with your provider(s) about whether you’d like them to wear a mask. Your provider may also choose to wear one at their discretion.
When will we ask you to still wear a mask?Even if you do not want to wear a mask, there are certain times we will ask you to wear one.
- If you are not feeling well, and especially if you are experiencing respiratory symptoms of any kind (cough, sore throat, congestion, etc.), we will ask you to wear a mask. We also request that you call the office before coming in, so we can evaluate the best course of action for your care.
- If you have a known recent exposure to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, we ask that you wear a mask when coming to the office.
