Integrated Sports Medicine Physical Therapy of Lansdowne
I grew up in Winchester, Virginia where it was a steady rotation of playing basketball, golf, football, and baseball year-round. Always wanting to stay involved in sports, I attended James Madison University where I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2020. Since obtaining my AT license, I have worked a variety of AT seasonal PRN jobs and volunteer opportunities such as high school basketball, DIII baseball, and the Marine Corps Marathon.
I went on to attend Virginia Commonwealth University to pursue my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2020. While there, I was a PT tech for a clinic within Integrated’s network down in Glen Allen, and I was the Billing and Outcomes manager for our student run pro bono clinic. I graduated in May 2023, and then I moved back up to the northern Virginia area. Since starting at Integrated, I have expanded my skills by becoming certified in physical golf screenings through Titleist Performance Institute along with becoming certified in barbell rehabilitation.
Through all the jobs and clinical rotations, there has been a constant passion for helping patients achieve their physical goals. Whether it is someone who wants to return to high level athletics or walking around the neighborhood pain free, my goal for my patients is to promote independence through consistent education and self-management strategies. These days you’ll probably find me somewhere in northern Virginia playing basketball, golf, running, hiking, or hanging out with friends.
